"Born and raised in Austria, I joined the Haskell Team in 2011 as House Manager for the Haskell Group. When my two daughters decided to further their studies in Austria I joined them in 2013 only to return to South Africa in April 2017 when I took over as Operations Manager of Haskell Vineyards and Longtable Restaurant. Different jobs in different industries and countries have taught me a lot, but there is one thing that is important no matter where you are in life: the appreciation of certain values. Genuine care, always being open to learning, building trust, perseverance, giving the best of your ability, checking the ego, dreaming big and winning together."

"When I was still in Primary School, back in Zimbabwe, my parents would give me 1 dollar for break time refreshments for the whole week. So, I had to budget and be accountable for every cent that went out. That gave me a desire and passion to work with figures in my life. I then studied Accounting and BComm Management Accounting before moving to SA in 2016 where I joined the Hospitality Industry at Majeka House in Stellenbosch. This helped me to love and appreciate the world of customer service. I have joined Haskell Vineyards in December 2016 as a waiter and was promoted later to Guesthouse Manager and Finance in 2017."

"I studied at Silwood Kitchens in Rondebosch and did a 3year Grande Diploma course. Started as a trainee at Terroir Restaurant under the supervision of Michael Broughton. Then I travelled abroad to Peebles in Scotland, where I got to work at a Boutique hotel and restaurant with their own fresh produce garden. That is where my love for fresh seasonal food started. After returning to South Africa I have worked my way through a few wine farms such as Big Easy, Cuvee @ Simonsig and as Head Chef at Babel@ Babylonstoren before joining Longtable Restaurant as Head of kitchen in September 2018. I have been a chef for almost 14 years, and still loving it!"
