Description
Variety: 100% Stellenbosch Syrah
Harvest Data
Vintage detail:
The 2018 vintage was the first vintage after 2015 that has the potential to be exceptional. Growing season was cooler than usual yet there was a reasonable amount of rain at the right time. This resulted in berries packed full of colour and flavour with grapes reaching optimal ripeness before any of the vines stressed too much.

Tasting Note
Notes of forest berries and liquorice dominate the nose with slight notes of violates and slight smokiness from the oak. The palade has a grip yet velvety with coated fruit tannins balancing well with the hints of wood char on the taste. Wine drinks well now but can easily age for another 15 years.
