This cake explores the cross-cultural culinary traditions of Jerusalem. Semolina cakes soaked in syrup are so numerous all over the Middle East and vary in so many ways. We add coconut and orange to our cake and the moist, yet light texture and aromatic flavors are what it is all about. This loaf cake will keep well for at least 5 days, they even improve with time. Best served with Greek yogurt or simply enjoy a slice with a cup of tea.
